Catherine, Princess of Wales Wore Ralph Lauren Collection To The Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games

Catherine, Princess of Wales, attended the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games on Saturday, visiting Team Wales at The Hydro in a look that perfectly balanced a sporting occasion with her signature elegance.

The Princess wore a dark green Ralph Lauren Collection Camden cashmere jacket, which was the standout piece for me. The rich green hue felt like a subtle nod to Team Wales, whose sporting colours are closely associated with green, giving the outfit a stronger sense of occasion.
The striped knit and flowing pleated skirt prevented the outfit from feeling too formal while still suiting the occasion. It was a simple combination of classic separates, which is Catherine’s forte, but this one felt fresh.
We all know how much Catherine loves tan shoes, so we shouldn’t have been surprised to see her complete the look with her Camilla Elphick Lucia slingback pumps. But for me, white would have been the better choice.

The white would have echoed the skirt and knit, giving the colour palette a cleaner, more cohesive finish. Anya Hindmarch’s Neeson Small Square tote completed the look.
