Beyoncé Skips the Red Carpet But Not the Glamour in Elie Saab

Beyoncé recently attended the Jay-Z in 8 premiere in New York, and while we know she doesn’t do the traditional red carpet, that doesn’t mean we were going to miss out on the fashion.

The singer will usually drop a series of captionless photos on Instagram, but this time her makeup artist, Armando Kole, and stylist, Ty Hunter, shared Driely S.’s images of the look. And really, why wouldn’t you be proud to share your work when she looks this beautiful?

Beyoncé wore an Elie Saab Fall 2026 Haute Couture black corseted gown, covered in black and gold embellishments over sheer tulle.

There’s no pretending this is a new direction for Beyoncé. She loves a corset, she loves a sheer gown, and she certainly loves sparkle. But when the result looks this good, I’m not looking for reinvention.

For me, it’s the full-throttle glamour that sells it. The corset hugs her in all the right places, while the sweeping train gives the look the scale you would expect from an Elie Saab Couture gown.

The sheer opera gloves were the perfect addition, continuing the black tulle from the gown.

And considering these pictures were taken backstage rather than on a red carpet, somehow that makes the whole thing even better.

Her makeup artist captioned his post ‘Smokeshow 💨’. Something tells me he wasn’t talking about the eye makeup.
