Dove Cameron and Damiano David Swap Dark Glamour for Wedding Whites

Damiano David and Dove Cameron married at Montalcino Town Hall in Italy yesterday, and for a couple so closely associated with dark glamour, I was surprised to see them both embrace white and ivory for the occasion.

Damiano wore custom Giuliva Heritage tailoring, while Dove chose an Armani Privé suit. Bridal tailoring is hardly uncommon, yet I was surprised she didn’t opt for a traditional wedding gown. But when you regularly wear gowns on the red carpet, perhaps the appeal was in separating those fashion moments from what she wore to get married.

I found her choice far more interesting. Between the sharp shoulders, cinched waist and fluid trousers, there is still a sense of bridal formality, even without a train or veil.

What I like most is how well their looks work together. Damiano’s ivory suit has a softer, more relaxed character, while Dove’s crisp white tailoring feels decidedly more formal. Her calla lily bouquet was also beautifully chosen.

Considering how often we’ve seen them together in black, leather and darker palettes, the real surprise here is the colour story. Seeing them completely switch that familiar aesthetic for their wedding made the moment feel all the more special and unexpected.
