Cate Blanchett Keeps It Casual in Givenchy for ‘Persona’ Q&A

Cate Blanchett is preparing to return to the stage in Benedict Andrews’ new play Persona, which runs from August 19 to October 10 at the Lyttelton Theatre.

I know what you’re thinking. Does this mean she’ll miss her annual appearance at the Venice Film Festival as an Armani Beauty ambassador?
One can only hope she’s granted a night off.
For the London Q&A last night, the Australian actress took a refreshingly relaxed approach in a look from the Givenchy Spring 2026 collection.
It’s not often we see Cate in denim – or sneakers, for that matter – but this was exactly the right occasion to step away from the immaculate tailoring and couture we’re used to seeing. The crisp oversized white shirt, dark denim pencil skirt and white trainers struck the right balance for an afternoon spent discussing theatre rather than posing on a red carpet.
Even dressed this casually, there was still plenty of polish in the styling, the clean silhouette and the understated accessories.
