Elle Fanning’s Emmys Beauty Look Was All About Soft Glamour

Elle Fanning worked with makeup artist Erin Ayanian Monroe and hairstylist Jenda Alcorn, both for L’Oréal Paris, to create her beauty look for the 2026 Emmy Awards.

Makeup

Erin wanted Elle to look like the best version of herself, describing the approach as putting “a magnifying glass over her beauty.”

That translated into luminous skin, softly defined eyes and a rose-toned lip.

For skin prep, Erin started with L’Oréal Paris Age Perfect Serum Le Duo, followed by a light layer of L’Oréal Paris Age Perfect Midnight Cream.

For the base, L’Oréal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Foundation in W0.5 was mixed with a drop of L’Oréal Paris True Match Lumi Glotion in 901 Fair. L’Oréal Paris True Match Hyaluron Tinted Balm Embellisher in 3 Rose Lumiere was then used for blush and highlight, while L’Oréal Paris Infallible Blur-Fection Longwear Loose Setting Powder in 20 Light Translucent created a soft-matte finish through the centre of the face.

Elle’s brows were groomed with L’Oréal Paris Faux Brow Hair-Like Brow Filling Pen and Infallible 24-HR Brow Lamination Gel in Transparent.

Erin emphasised the eyes with L’Oréal Paris Paradise Le Shadow Stick in Twinkly Rose and Brown Bliss before defining the lashes with L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Panorama Mascara in Black.

L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Satin Lipstick in Worth It completed the makeup, followed by a spritz of L’Oréal Paris Infallible 3-Second Setting Spray.

Hair

For Elle’s hair, Jenda wanted something timeless and romantic, with shine, softness and natural flow.

She started with L’Oréal Paris Elvive Glycolic + Gloss Shine Boosting Shampoo and Conditioner to create a smooth base, before working L’Oréal Paris Elvive Glycolic + Gloss High Shine Leave-In Serum through the hair for its glossy finish.

Elle’s hair was then styled into soft, sweeping waves, with L’Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hold Hairspray – Unscented used as the finishing product to hold the style while keeping the waves soft and touchable.

The combination of luminous skin, subtle rose tones and glossy waves felt quintessentially Elle, while giving her signature romantic beauty a little extra definition for Emmys night.
