Kaia Gerber’s Signature Style Continues On The Shards Press Tour

There were more looks from Kaia Gerber as she continued promoting her new film, The Shards, and you won’t be surprised to learn that they all stayed within her familiar style formula.

Good Morning America
Usually, a black dress and black pumps are a signal for me to mentally check out, but instead I found myself really liking this Prada dress.
It’s sleek, elegant and perfectly in tune with Kaia’s understated aesthetic. She isn’t someone who chases trends. Instead, she has built a wardrobe around clean, refined silhouettes that consistently work for her, and this dress is another example of that approach paying off.
Styled with an Aupen Nova Nylon bag, the look felt considered without straying from the aesthetic she has made her own.

GMA Departure
This Alaïa Fall 2026 red knit dress was easily my favourite look of the press run.
The saturated red instantly broke up the run of black, while the sculpted fit proved once again that Kaia knows exactly which silhouettes flatter her.
The Row Sacha thong sandals do slightly contradict my earlier point about her not following trends, as thong sandals have become one of this year’s defining footwear styles. However, they’ve been part of Kaia’s wardrobe for some time, so they don’t feel like a sudden shift.
I’d rank this alongside her Valentino premiere look as one of the strongest outfits from the entire promotion.

The Shards After-Party
Back to black? Of course.
This time, Kaia opted for a more sensual approach in Norma Kamali’s aptly named Invisible Fishtail gown. The illusion straps create the effect of the dress floating just off the body, giving an otherwise minimalist silhouette an unexpected twist.

Press Junket
Apparently, you can never own too many black silk slip dresses.
Following the after-party, Kaia returned to another minimalist favourite for the next day’s press junket, styling the dress with Tom Ford sunglasses and Gianvito Rossi Sofia mules.
The look could easily have blended into the rest of her black wardrobe, but the white scarf changed the mood entirely.
Rather than serving as a simple accessory, it introduced a touch of old-Hollywood glamour. Draped softly around her neck, it was a subtle styling choice, but one that gave her signature slip dress a fresher perspective.
