Sienna Miller’s Dramatic Style Shift at the War Premiere

Sienna Miller stepped onto the red carpet at the ODEON Luxe Leicester Square in London this evening for the War world premiere.

Once the reigning queen of boho style, Sienna’s recent red carpet appearances have been steadily rewriting that narrative. We’re seeing sharper silhouettes and more adventurous choices, and this might be the clearest indication yet that she’s entering a new fashion chapter.
I was genuinely surprised to see the British actress wearing this Dilara Fındıkoğlu Fall 2023 Dark Phoenix dress, embroidered with black feathers. It’s dark, dramatic and worlds away from the romantic, free-spirited aesthetic that has been Sienna’s signature for much of her career.
I adore a sculpted silhouette, so the exaggerated hips immediately sold this to me. But more than that, I’m excited by the change in direction. Sienna could easily gone with the familiar, but she didn’t. I’m also glad she left the necklace and the runway’s latex gloves behind, allowing the shape and featherwork to remain the focus.
I know a lot of you didn’t buy into Dilara Fındıkoğlu’s designs on Margot Robbie, so I’m interested to see whether Sienna changes the conversation.
Does she sell it to you?
