Teyana Taylor Wore Saint Laurent To The ’72 Hours’ New York Screening

Teyana Taylor is showing no signs of slowing down in 2026. Fresh from her appearances at the Jay-Z ‘Reasonable Doubt’ 30th Anniversary Celebration concert, the actress attended the screening of Netflix’s 72 Hours, held at The Plaza Hotel in New York this week.

Known for pushing boundaries with dynamic, directional fashion, Teyana took a more restrained approach in Saint Laurent’s Pre-Fall 2026 tailoring. The double-breasted blazer and tailored Bermuda shorts offered a sharp interpretation of Anthony Vaccarello’s oversized suiting.

The translucent Saint Laurent Brigitte pumps are likely to divide opinion. Had they been cloudy, I would have been right there with you, but I have to admit that Teyana sold them to me. I think that’s because the warm brown trim blended with her skin tone. A black or nude version would have created a more awkward visual effect, drawing attention away from an otherwise well-balanced look.

As expected, Teyana turned to Schiaparelli for the jewellery. The bold Vendôme earrings and matching statement necklace injected the kind of sculptural glamour that has become a signature of her red carpet style.

Add in the Gucci Mask Frame sunglasses, and the accessories completely transformed the look. Without them, the tailoring might have felt a little too straightforward, but together they gave the outfit the attitude and personality we’ve come to expect from Teyana.
